Knowing and Doing the Will of God Through Sharing

Knowing and Doing the Will of God Through Sharing

We share many things with others. We share time, money, joy, sorrow and food among other things. Humans live in a society. We come in contact with people all the time at work, home and the street. Knowing and doing the will of God starts with our relationships with others. When we share any of our resources with others God works in us. Only when we give we begin to see the purpose of God in creating us with others.

We lose the purpose of God when we are selfish. We become a stagnant well with useless water. Only fresh water can refresh a person. When you begin to learn to give you begin to enjoy a certain joy that no other experience can give you. It is more blessed to give than receive.

Knowing and doing the will of God is all about making someone's life better. It is always through giving something that belongs to you. It is a choice that you have to make.

You can be shy or selfish and not share. This applies big time to sharing some news that is good for your friends and family. The good news of Jesus Christ is something that you know and experience every day. If you are happy and enjoy the good news, why not share it with some one.

It is like one beggar telling another that there is food in that house, 'go and get some'.
We do not share from an arrogant and holier than thou attitude. Most of our witnessing has become just that. We do not share it with others from love. We share in order to impress our church. Knowing and doing the will of God as an experience should reflect in why your share.

If you do not appreciate what you have you will not share it. You are not sure so you do not want to say to others that it is good. So the reason you are not sharing is because you do not enjoy it. If you do, you will. Most of our evangelism efforts have become works oriented. Church compels you to witness, so we join the outreach group and pretend we have done evangelism. That is not it.

If you have tasted knowing and doing the will of God and he is real to you, you should be sharing this with your closes friends and relatives, in a kind and loving manner. Share it like you would recommend a good restaurant. That will prove that you practice knowing and doing the will of God as a part of your life.
